NREC acts as a neutral convenor and works with regions, government, corporates, and other key stakeholders to implement the region’s strategic vision and goals through a well-designed and all-encompassing Joint Decision Making (JDM) framework.

Ngarrindjeri Ruwe Empowered Communities acknowledges that the land we are based and work on is the lands of the Ngarrindjeri people. We acknowledge the Ngarrindjeri ancestors, leaders and elders that have gone before us. We also acknowledge the elders, men, women, young people and children of the Ngarrindjeri Nation and their connection to country, their ngatjar, language, stories, culture, ceremony and beliefs today.
